2. What we do

2.1 We provide health information through the Website and offer you the option to book an appointment through our online platform or via telephone for a consultation with a registered pharmacist or registered nurse in a Superdrug Health Clinic ( the “Superdrug Health Clinic”). You will then receive the treatment chosen in the Superdrug Health Clinic subject to the outcome of the consultation and the assessment of the pharmacist or the nurse on the suitability of the treatment.

3. The Superdrug Health Clinics – How it works

3.1 When you visit the Website you have the option to book an appointment in a Superdrug Health Clinic for a particular treatment as offered on the Website .

During the booking process, either online or via phone, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire, and to provide relevant and adequate personal information.

Once you have submitted the questionnaire, either online or via phone, a binding contract is formed between you and Superdrug. Superdrug will email you or SMS you (at your option) a confirmation that you have successfully booked an appointment with a Superdrug Health Clinic, confirming the date, place and time of your appointment.

All our booking questionnaires have been carefully prepared by medical staff and are compliant with medical best practice.

By booking an appointment on the Website online or via telephone, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

During the consultation with the pharmacist or nurse, you will be requested to confirm your understanding of the risks and benefits of the treatments available and confirm you consent and agree to proceed with treatment and the applicable terms and conditions.

16. Complaints Policy

At Superdrug Health Clinics, we use an internal complaints procedure to make sure that any and all complaints are handled effectively. Our procedure has 7 steps: Categorise, Acknowledge, Investigate, Action, Respond, Report, Learn. To help make sure that our patient’s issues are resolved in a timely manner, we’re committed to confirming that a relevant manager has received any complaint within 24 hours of it being made. Our team will then investigate the events surrounding each complaint in order to get a full understanding of the situation.

After we have finished an internal investigation into a complaint, we’ll send a written confirmation of the actions undertaken to resolve the complaint. In some circumstances, we may ask for further information to aid the investigation. Please be aware that the time taken to investigate a complaint will depend on the nature of the complaint and the persons involved, but we’ll send regular updates as the investigation progresses. We’ll also provide you with contact information for the manager investigating your complaint, so you can contact them if necessary.

After the investigation has been completed and you’ve received a written confirmation from us, we will review the complaint again internally with the people involved. We do this to make sure that we can take away learnings, and continue to improve our service and processes to provide a better experience for all of our patients in the future. If you’re not satisfied with how a complaint has been handled or resolved, we’ll provide you with further information on next steps.
